Two Teams take on one of the worlds Largest Pizza’s Randy’s 48-inch Pizza Challenge.
Two Teams
each with 5 members (Captained by
brothers Rick and Tom Blaul) Took on one of the World’s Largest Pizza’s Sat Dec
6th, Randy’s 48 inch Pizza Challenge. Had they succeeded they would
have taken home a prize of $500.00 each, but the amount of Pizza turned out to
be too much. It was one for the record books though, it was the first time
Randy’s Premier Pizza ever made two of these monster Pizza’s at the same time
and had a double challenge of two teams competing against one another. The
First Team had me worried a bit says Randy Hueffmeier, owner of Randy’s Premier
Pizza. They got off to a great start and had just about half of the pizza eaten
by the 10 minute mark, but fell of pace and couldn’t finish it.
A few weeks ago Mike Morris (the Superstar of KFAN,
Crisco (of KDWB Fame) and a few Friends Strolled into Randy’s’ Premier Pizza to
take Randy’s 30 inch Pizza Challenge. The Four Finished the Challenge in the 2nd
best-recorded time in the 25-year history of Randy’s Pizza Challenge. They
Finished a 30” Pizza with ½ Canadian bacon and Pineapple, ¼ Pepperoni and Bacon
and ¼ Sausage and Fresh Mushrooms in 19 Minutes Flat.
For every successful challenge Randy’s Premier Pizza
donates pizza to a local food shelf
